Join us on Friday, August 14th at 6 pm for a Cello concert with Irén Hangen Vázquez & friends!
Irén will be joined by her father, Eric Hangen on piano and family friend, Amir Milstein on flute.
Together they will perform an eclectic musical selection of classical (lots of Bach!), Brazilian music, and more!

SPACE IS LIMITED! Please order your tickets early to reserve your seats. Adult Tickets are $15, Children under 12 years old are $2, and we’ve added an option for folks who can’t make it to this event but want to support the arts! All proceeds go to the artists.

Irén Hangen Vázquez is a cellist and music theorist from Danby, Vermont. She is currently pursuing a Master of Music in cello performance at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University. Irén received her Bachelor of Music in cello performance and music theory from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2025.
A passionate and engaging performer, Irén has performed across Southwestern Vermont with festivals such as the Taconic Chamber Music Institute and the Kinhaven Young Artist Seminar. When not with her cello, she enjoys knitting, reading, and spending time outside with family and friends!
